My name is Yvie (short for Yvonne) and I am a 26-year-old lifestyle blogger living in London and working in the digital media industry. Whilst I love going to the gym (ever tried a boxing class?!), I have also recently taken up photography!
The inspiration for this blog came as I woke up one day and took a step back to assess my life. I have decided to set up this blog as a way of bettering myself, becoming accountable and making an active change for the better in my life. I have decided to make healthier choices, and undertake a lot more exercise. Essentially, I have decided to go back to living my life the way I did two years ago, and this time I will stick to it.
This does not mean, of course, that there won’t be any occasional indulgence because let’s face it, what is life without a little fun? We all have those days after all, where comfort food and being a couch potato are just the way forward. I will, however, move towards a much more healthy and balanced lifestyle than I am living now.
Along the way, I aim to discover new, healthy foods and recipes to make this lifestyle an easier, more fun way to live. I am also looking for new ways to exercise, for instance weight lifting and boxing. I have tried both recently and thoroughly enjoyed them, and I always think it’s best to keep your workouts varied to ensure they remain interesting to you as otherwise, I know I won’t want to stick with it.
